It's finally 2008!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Ok...so seeing as this is the first post of the year...I figured I'd post up my new year's resolutions. The proper ones. I know I've done random ones before but these, I intend to keep.

#1. Turn vegetarian for 2008 - with exception for fish
#2. Become a proper tarot card reader
#3. Focus on getting at least an H2A average this year - need to be able to get into honours.
#4. Try to be more positive.
#5. Do more sports and try to cook more often in Melbourne.

Ok...that was short and sweet. Didnt want to make too many resolutions that I'd end up not keeping. I figured I could live without meat - I've been vegetarian already for about a month and it's all good. I gotta lose weight anyways.

I just got back from Nazrul and Suzila's wedding. Nazrul is my malay uncle. Ok....given he's only about 10 years older than me, it's still a bit weird calling him uncle. The wedding wasnt too bad. It was held at Chancellor Hall UBD...the only thing that kinda bothered me was the loooooong wait for everything to start. All in all it was pretty pleasant. Popo and Ningkuku were the only other representatives from my immediate family. I didnt realise I had so many malay relatives!!

New Year's Eve was quiet but nice. Spent it with Javian, Kok Liang and Felicia. Dayat came a lot later. We spent the evening trying to finish as much of the food that we could. Needless to say, we were expecting so many more people. It wasn't much of a NYE party though. We spent some time playing poker, cho tai ti and drinking. It was fun. I was meant to sleep over but it felt a bit weird so I drove home at around 3. Haha. I think I still had alcohol in my system but was 'sober' enough to drive. Short drive anyways and there werent anymore road blocks. *phew*

Now, I'm just waiting for 5pm to arrive. I'm finally gonna be able to drive dad's precious Jag!! Haha...There's a dinner tonight at Dynasty. I'm gonna try and be as pleasant as possible. 3ee and Ron will be hosting the dinner...haha...my first step into the new year in living up to my resolutions. 2008 is gonna be a good year people!!!
