you learn to appreciate these things.

I love melbourne. But one thing is for sure....you really learn to appreciate certain things. Like for instance, when I head back to Brunei or even Singapore, you tend to appreciate the cheap prices of food and everything else...but mostly food. Was just looking at Rano's blog and I saw the pic of him at the gerai makan outside the stadium. Made me remember that roti john and burgers can be bought at about a dollar. No such thing here. Want a burger ? Minimum AUD4...no $1 $2 business here.. =(

No one washes your clothes here. Well, I dont really have problems with that. Coz yea...I just dont. I dont know why. No one cooks for you. But in my case, I have syl so that prob is under wraps. I havent really made an effort to cook lately. The only things I've made so far are what...mee goreng and nutella sandwiches...haha...

There ARE actual beggars here....and drunk people walking the streets. Ok...now this happened last night. Scared the living daylights outta me. Luckily I had BW with me. But then...he used MY money to donate something to the beggar kid who looked absolutely fine to me except for the smell. Ok, this is what I dont get...he had working hands and working legs...why not work for 7 11's? Thats what most people do here when they're in need for a job. LOOOOOSSSEEERRR...haha...

As for the drunk dude, he just came up to us and said "That guy is racist, dont talk to him" and he was pointing to his friend. Then he went.."so did you guys win any money at the Casino ?" [oh yea...forgot to mention. This was @ Crown after a very sad night at the tables] So BW said "no...not a good night for us"... Then the dude was like "is this your girlfriend? You better treat her right otherwise me and my buddies will give you a thrashing if we find out that you treated her badly" LOL...that was sooo funny...

That wud've been the second time BW got threatened last night. Haha. The first time was by a Thai lady at the table. Talked as if she was suuuuch a big shot, I mean, sure she had her money but she was playing on her new found friend's luck. Dumb shit lah that woman. Oh and we came across a guy that we call SUPERMAN!! But his mojo only worked for the first maybe 30 hands...but damn chun lah him. He kept getting 8's and 9's...haha...

Anyhooz..I gotta go do some reading...tata...
